RAIS Database

The “RAIS” database –  " The Risk Assessment Information System" – developed by the US Department of Energy (DOE), the Office of Environmental Management and  Oak Ridge Operations (ORO) Office, could not be included in the scope of the Furetox search engine.

The database is a compilation of the values listed on the IRIS base, plus Provisional Peer-Reviewed Toxicity Values (PPRTV) and values on the HEAST (Health Effects Assessment Summary Tables) database.

World Health Organisation (WHO) Databases

Data supplied by the WHO is sometimes difficult to access as it is scattered over a number of Websites. To help users find their way, the project team drew up a document (Orga OMS.pdf, at present in French only) locating the different working groups, references and documents produced by the WHO, either independently or jointly with other international organisations.
